The exam period is approaching, and once again, finding a free desk in Aachen has become a challenge. Seats on Eupener Straße are usually taken early in the day, while construction and renovations at other locations such as Bayernallee are further limiting available study space. Quiet places for focused work are becoming increasingly scarce.
Local elections will be held again in September, and you will have the opportunity to cast your vote for the next mayor.

As a freshman, it can sometimes be quite difficult to find your feet. At some point, you may find yourself wondering, “Where do I actually register for exams?”, “Who can I contact if I have complaints about my studies?” or “As a student, can I do other things at the university besides studying?” We have compiled some information and tips to answer these and similar questions.
New winter semester, new orientation week! Orientation week, also known as orientation days, was probably more eventful for some and perhaps a little quieter for others. What can definitely be said is that every year, the orientation tutors put a lot of effort into getting the most out of the week. But what exactly does an orientation tutor do?
The second FLINTA* event took place on May 20 - this time at the Gerling Pavilion in Jülich. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., a number of students came together to network, exchange ideas and simply spend a pleasant evening together in a relaxed atmosphere.
