Endlich habt ihr es auf die Digiprinte geschafft. Ein Häkchen zum akademischen Abschluss kann schon mal gesetzt werden. Spaß beiseite.
Wir wissen aus eigener Erfahrung: Der Studienstart ist super spannend, aber manchmal auch ganz schön überwältigend. Neue Leute, neue Abläufe, viele Fragen – das kann schnell unübersichtlich werden.
As a freshman, it can sometimes be quite difficult to find your feet. At some point, you may find yourself wondering, “Where do I actually register for exams?”, “Who can I contact if I have complaints about my studies?” or “As a student, can I do other things at the university besides studying?” We have compiled some information and tips to answer these and similar questions.
New winter semester, new orientation week! Orientation week, also known as orientation days, was probably more eventful for some and perhaps a little quieter for others. What can definitely be said is that every year, the orientation tutors put a lot of effort into getting the most out of the week. But what exactly does an orientation tutor do?
The second FLINTA* event took place on May 20 - this time at the Gerling Pavilion in Jülich. From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., a number of students came together to network, exchange ideas and simply spend a pleasant evening together in a relaxed atmosphere.
On May 17, the Eupener Straße campus was transformed into a lively meeting place for students, initiatives and good humor: the summer festival attracted over 400 participants to the grounds in the best weather this time!
On Thursday, April 24th 2025, our FLINTA*@Campus event took place for the first time on Eupener Straße. Between 4 and 7 p.m., around 11 participants came together to talk, network and learn more about equality issues in a relaxed atmosphere.

You can basically remember that no matter what kind of problem you are currently dealing with, you always have someone to talk to in your General Student Committee, or in short: AStA!
Presumably, some of you have already used AI tools like ChatGPT as part of your studies. Whether it's for structuring a research paper or supplementing code, the question always arises: Is it allowed/legal?
