On Thursday, April 24th 2025, our FLINTA*@Campus event took place for the first time on Eupener Straße. Between 4 and 7 p.m., around 11 participants came together to talk, network and learn more about equality issues in a relaxed atmosphere.
The German acronym FLINTA* stands for women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people (Frauen, Lesben, inter, nicht-binäre, trans und agender Personen). The events are aimed specifically at these groups in order to create protected spaces, facilitate exchange and promote visibility.
The physical well-being was also taken care of: with cakes, cookies and fresh coffee, the afternoon was not only informative, but also culinary pleasant. One highlight was the raffle of a €10 voucher for the Artemis Bookstore - matching the book table of the Equal Opportunities Office, where a selection of literature and information material on feminist and socio-political topics was available.
