Summer is slowly coming to an end, and as we enjoy the last warm rays of sunshine with a soda outdoors, they appear: intrusive black and yellow guests that can ruin our relaxing afternoon. Wasps seem to be particularly aggressive in August. But why is that? Is there a malicious intent behind it?
You wake up, check your phone and your favorite professor sends you an email announcing a “lecture-free April”. Your heart does a quick somersault. Then you read the date. Of course. April, April.
Twice a year, it's the same old story: the clocks change, and millions of people wonder why we still put ourselves through this hassle.
You can already get involved as a first-year student! You can reach out to all committees at any time and help as a free member or run for the next student elections. Any kind of help is explicitly welcome, whether you want to engage in student politics in the Student Parliament (SP) or collaborate with others as a tutor. We all welcome you with open arms and offer you an extensive network of fellow students.
Almost everyone has encountered video games at some point in their life—some more, some less. The type of games people have played also varies from person to person. However, since the 1990s, the media has often claimed that video games are harmful and make people aggressive. But is that really true? Could video games actually be good for us?
