Das Jahr startet in Aachen traditionell bunt, und nach den ersten Klausuren lockt direkt der Osterbend (04.04.–20.04.2026). Für alle, die neu in der Stadt sind: Der „Bend“ ist unsere traditionelle Kirmes mit Fahrgeschäften, gebrannten Mandeln und Adrenalin — perfekt für eine kleine Auszeit vom Semester-Stress.
Every year on January 1st, it’s the same old story: we look at the fresh pages of the new calendar with motivation, firmly resolving to do everything differently this year.
The exam period is approaching, and once again, finding a free desk in Aachen has become a challenge. Seats on Eupener Straße are usually taken early in the day, while construction and renovations at other locations such as Bayernallee are further limiting available study space. Quiet places for focused work are becoming increasingly scarce.
